In March 2017, Kreber was awarded the contract for the manufacturing of the Hub Seal Package for the Ain Dubai by Korea based Hyundai Engineering & Construction. Under heavy time pressure, tight tolerances and stringent quality requirements Kreber provided for the fabrication drawings, procurement of seals and raw materials, construction, trial fit, preservation and full manufacturing record documentation.

At over 210 metres tall, Ain Dubai will eclipse the 167-metre High Roller in Las Vegas and the 190-metre New York Wheel planned for Staten Island. It is currently worlds tallest ferris wheel.

The wheel will be able to carry up to 1,400 passengers in its 48 capsules fitted with smart climate control and LED screens, and provide views of Dubai Marina and landmarks such as Burj Al Arab, Palm Jumeirah, and Burj Khalifa. Its base will serve as an entertainment zone, and 80 metres (260 feet) LED screen will be mounted on the wheel creating an electronic platform for broadcasting, advertisements, and other information.

The final structure will include around 9,000 tonnes of steel, almost 25 percent more than the amount of iron used to construct the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris.
